Strong Quinacridone, modern permanent synthetic red with a bright pinkish mass tone producing vivid, intensely cold, and lightfast tints with white. Imaged first is Ruby Violet at left spread out with Ruby Red at far right. In between is Ruby Rose, mixing with the two other Ruby's next to it. Next also right from the tube is our Ruby Violet Light at center, top to bottom, with our Ruby Red to its left and our Rosebud to its right. Using the Rosebud to mix into the Ruby Violet Light creates a delicate violet pink at bottom right. Rich in pigmentation, this semi-transparent cool primary easily brightens other mixtures and tints, mixing cleanly to amplify both warm & cool colors. Mixtures showing a warm pink (Rosebud) and a very warm yellow (Cadmium Yellow) being used to modify the cold mixing Ruby Red and create unique oranges and coral pinks. Ruby Red is milled with the finest alkali refined Linseed Oil in limited quantities for a naturally drying durable paint film. Color Index: PV 19
