This listing is for a large and sparkling brooch made with vintage paste glass rhinestones. It features lots of big, vintage glass Diamonds surrounding a huge ruby red crystal.This brooch is inspired by Georgian-era cluster brooches which featured paste glass or real gemstones, frequently seen in an oval shape like this one. This style persisted through the Victorian Era. Queen Victoria was given a Sapphire brooch in this style as a wedding gift.This would be lovely on the front of a gown or as a fichu pin. This is a large brooch (about 1 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches or 3.8 cm long) with a bar pin finding on the back. This is a brass setting that has been plated in your choice of finish. Gold plate is shown.
