Use directly in the display aquarium as directed. Apply once per day for at least 3 consecutive days. Longer treatment periods may be required for heavy or persistent infections. Protein skimming and water changes may be used as needed to maintain water quality when timed around the treatment schedule. The aquarium water may temporarily turn yellowish green during treatment. Ruby Reef states this temporary color change is not harmful will not stain and will fade as the product biodegrades out of the tank.
