I have painted quite a few Oz inspired pieces over the years, ever since I was first commissioned to by Harrods in 2009. I had the idea for this piece 'Ruby Slippers' about 10 year s ago, and only got the chance to finally paint it earlier this year (2022). It features tiny sparkly ornaments, that were a gift from a collector of mine. The blurred background hints at the yellow brick road and Dorothy's basket.The print is a signed Limited Edition Giclée on Somerset Velvet 330gsm paper with a silkscreen varnish, image size 40x56cm, paper size 50x66cm.
