For the latest installment of Ruby Star Society's Projects With Purpose, we have a new cut and sew panel The designers pooled their most iconic characters and animals from their ma ny years of designing fabric collections and placed them on a colourful panel for a variety of projects. They'll make great stuffies, cat toys, applique decorations or general embellishments to whatever you're making. Spark - If you wan to make stuffies, there are excellent instructions printed right on the panel. Alternatively, I think you could put one or two of these together as though you're making a stuffy, but instead, add some stabilizer (and maybe a lining), and add a strategically placed zipper for a fun pouch to hold sewing supplies or other things that get away from you...(like the fish or ice cream cone!) NOTE - The profits from this panel will go to the Healthwell Foundation, a non-profit whose goal is to reduce financial barriers to care for underinsured patients with chronic or life altering diseases.
