Each year it pr oduces an abundance of fruit with an alluring orange skin that slowly turns to a rich pink as each fruit piece ripens. Inevitably jars of my dad's delicious ruby grapefruit marmalade and our grapefruit/orange version of middle eastern orange cake follow.
