Rum & Bones: Second Tide is a miniatures board game where players control fantastic pirate crews embroiled in exciting ship-to-ship boarding combat. Based on the popular multiplayer arena combat video games, Second Tide evolves the gameplay of the original Rum & Bones, making it more fast-paced, immersive, and tactically challenging. Each ship's single-minded crew of Deckhands and Bosuns charged toward key objectives on the opposing player's ship, always ready to battle through its defenders. The crews are not alone, however, as player-controlled Heroes join in the fray to swing the fight in their favor! Every faction has five types of Heroes with different roles in battle: Captain, Quartermaster, Swashbuckler, Gunner, and Brute. Each Hero has unique attacks and special abilities that are used to defeat foes, gaining strength and utility as players upgrade them with loot earned from battle. The Marea de la Muerte and Deep Lords factions included in this box also have acces to unique powers via their personalized Tide Decks. But beware, the call of the depths and its powerful abilities come at a cost, attracting the attention of the mythical horror from below, the Kraken!
