Interested in crossing over to the dark side of trail running? We have a training program for that! RunningLane Wild Thangs summer trail series starts with Big Foot, a 5K/10K race on June 14, 2025 and is the perfect opportunity for you to try out a trail race on Monte Sano. This training program will help provide you with a solid foundation for trail running, along with the tools and techniques needed to make a successful transition from road to trails, or to improve your current trail running skills while keeping mileage low. Utilizing a 10-week custom training plan composed of three group runs plus solo strength training and mobility work, you will be prepared for all that the Big Foot trail race can dish out. Coach Carrie Lin has a passion for trail running, a servant's heart, and is excited to help others discover a love for it! o Program begins on Monday, April 7, 2025 o Group runs will be on Mondays at 6pm from the RunningLane store & Wednesdays at 6pm and Sundays at 2pm at a local Monte Sano or Land Trust trailhead. o 10-week tailored training plan included for either the 5K or 10K o All trail running beginners welcome!
