This layered drawing includes imagery of Red Army soldiers fighting in Stalingrad and a self-portrait. The artwork reflects upon the brutalisation of young girls and women during WWII and the resulting consequences, particularly suicide and unwanted pregnancies. The drawing was created as a memorial to all female victims of sexual violence during conflict, a weapon of war still used today.
