Rustic Oak Mule Chest This mule chest is essentially an ottoman with a handy pair of drawers beneath providing superb storage space for blankets, towels or whatever else you might like to keep in it. We have partially restored this splendid piece stripping the oak back to its more natural colour then clear lacquering to bring out all of the beauty of the grain. We have also replaced the hinges and added a chain. This is an old piece full of rustic charm which we wanted to maintain. There are plenty of marks and stains in the top and a broken trim on the front right of the lid all adding to its genuine character.
