After blending, the sour ale was pitched with Brettanomyces yeast and bottle conditioned for four months, adding layers of complexity and funk to the barrel character and balanced sourness. The finished beer is beautifully complex. Notes from the Chardonnay barrels are clearly present but never overwhelming. Malt character provides balance and length, leading to a moreish, satisfying finish. Limited to 1000 individually numbered, hand-labelled bottles with tamper seal. Show more
