The Wolf in the Pines Christmas Stocking features a wolf standing under the pine trees howling at the moon as the snow starts to fall. The Wolf Stocking is made from brown and black tweed wool fabric with a light red/pink stripe. The gray wool fabric wolf is standing among the pine trees, which are made of dark green and plaid green wool fabric. The wolf is "howling" at the moon which is made from light gray wool fabric. The "snow flurries" are made from vintage white buttons. The wool fabric trees, wolf, moon and buttons are all hand sewn onto the fabric using embroidery floss. Each stocking is lined with cotton muslin fabric and the stocking cuff is hand tea-dyed cotton batting. Fusible interfacing is added to the body of the stocking to give it durability. A heavy jute twine loop makes it ready to hang.
