Description Rutini Malbec 2021 is an elegant and distinguished red wine crafted by Rutini Wines under the direction of acclaimed head winemaker Mariano Di Paola. Sourced exclusively from vineyards in La Consulta, in Mendoza’s renowned Uco Valley, this 100% Malbec captures the full aromatic intensity, deep fruit concentration, and floral typicity provided by high-altitude terroir. Hand-harvested and aged for 12 months in new oak barrels (80% French and 20% American), the wine achieves a sophisticated balance between vibrant varietal character and rich, toasted oak complexity. "In the glass, it presents an intense, deep ruby red color with bright violet hues. The nose is concentrated and complex, offering aromas of ripe red plums, dark berries, and subtle floral violet notes, seamlessly framed by hints of vanilla, chocolate, tobacco, and sweet baking spices from oak aging. On the palate, it is full-bodied, smooth, and velvety, featuring round, sweet tannins, balanced freshness, and a long, persistent, and elegant finish."
