Rx Bio-Mycin 200 Injection, 500 ml Bio-Mycin 200 is a broad-spectrum antibiotic injection formulated with oxytetracycline and a Select Carrier to reduce tissue irritation and discomfort. This ready-to-use sterile solution delivers rapid and sustained blood levels to effectively treat bacterial infections in cattle and swine. Indications: For cattle: Pneumonia, shipping fever complex, pinkeye, foot rot, diphtheria, leptospirosis, wound infections, acute metritis, and wooden tongue caused by oxytetracycline-susceptible organisms. For swine: Bacterial enteritis, pneumonia, leptospirosis, and infectious enteritis in suckling pigs caused by oxytetracycline-susceptible organisms. Directions: Administer 9 mg of Bio-Mycin 200 per pound of body weight via intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. Follow your veterinarian’s guidance for repeated doses as needed. Avoid exceeding 10 mL per injection site in adult cattle. Observe recommended withdrawal periods: 28 days for slaughter and 96 hours for milk.
