About Ryan Hewett Ryan Hewett’s artistic output can perhaps be viewed in three phases: a triptych of progression from the tightly wrought pencil drawings of his early career; through the heavy, impasto portraiture which brought him to prominence; and more recently, a shift to landscape painting which explores gradients of colour and the juxtaposition of painterly textures. Hewett segments his canvas with an ordered, geometric precision and embellishes the pieces with liberal flourishes of oil paint - this is done with an element of control that lends the work equilibrium. All our prints are carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and flat-packed for safe transport. Before framing, make sure to keep your print stored flat to ensure it remains in perfect condition. Try to place your work in an environment with a normal temperature. Extreme temperatures or humidities can have an adverse effect on your beautiful print, so be sure to keep it protected! We always recommend framing the work behind glass as a great way to keep it safe from any adverse environmental conditions. When framing the work, we always opt for a frame with Art Glass.
