Born from six years of refinement, the A73 Chef Knife is a tribute to those who see cooking as craft. With a 73-layer high carbon Damascus blade and a core of cryo-hardened ST650 powder steel, every slice carries the promise of sharpness that lasts. At 63 HRC, the edge holds with unwavering discipline, cut after cut. Its balanced 198g form is guided by a handle in figured French olive wood, shaped for comfort, aged for character. A chef’s essential, reimagined with Nordic soul and global edge. Delivered in a tactile paper box with magnetic closure—because first impressions matter. The A73 series from Ryda Knives is the most high-end collection we have created, with each knife designed for its specific purpose. For example, our chef knife has a balance point higher up on the blade to benefit a high pinch grip, while our slicing knife has a balance point further back to support a sturdier grip on the handle combined with a light pinch grip. The handles are made from smooth French olive wood, and for the blade we use our custom ST650 steel as the core material. With our grind, we achieve a score above 840 on the CATRA test. This series is designed for professional chefs, especially those who have been in the industry for a while and are looking to upgrade their knives. However, they are also perfect for new chefs who want to start their career with a set they can keep for many years to come. You must be over 18 to purchase this product.
