Time now for part two of this exciting project. We’re almost straight to work now with the big winter tree, which is such an intrinsic part of the composition. Then some lovely wet into wet work on the far bank before tackling the river, which gives us the opportunity to use the fascinating “wax resist” technique. Finally we finish off the scene with some large rocks and boulders before laying in the shingle and grass foreground, using a combination of wet into wet and dry-brush work. Happy painting.Geoff.
