Ryset tree sealant is a non-toxic, solvent-free, water based bitumen sealant for protecting tree wounds and grafts. Made from a unique blend of rubber latex and bitumen which has s uperior elasticity and water resistance. It forms a tough, flexible, waterproof and UV-stable film, which resists moisture penetration, bacteria growth and disease. Ryset Tree Sealant is ideal for sealing plant grafts, protecting pruning wounds and filling/sealing cracks and wounds in trees. How to Use Ryset Tree Sealant Apply tree sealant with a brush or a trowel direct from the container. Apply tree sealant in a thick generous coat covering the entire surface of the pruning cut. Tree sealant should be applied as soon as possible after pruning. When filling cracks or old wounds with tree sealant, remove any decay or loose bark with a pruning knife first.
