When using a backslide set with an offset hook, the eye position has little freedom. The Slide Pierce has a special worm keeper that allows you to move the eye position back and fo rth. By changing the eye position, the rig's fulcrum and center of gravity change, making it easier to adjust the "angle" and "speed" of the fall. Using a nail sinker allows for further fine adjustments. The hook uses a Pierce Hook TC, which provides high hooking performance even in situations where the hooking power is not transmitted sufficiently, such as through cover or when casting far away to hook a fish.
