S.L.H Sir Lewis Hamilton is incredibly inspiring 🐐 I’ve wanted to paint him for a while, and I decided to commit to giving him his flowers upon seeing his moral valor 🍉 The mission of this piece was to integrate the car into a portrait somehow. F1 cars have such an awkward shape, and it took weeks with almost 20 different iterations before I pinned this final composition down! 😮💨 I masked him with black roses, a nod to England’s national flower, and the carbon fiber makeup of F1 cars. There are subtle, teal glitch effects to add a pop of colour, again alluding to his car, and to add a sense of movement!
