WICKED FREERACE OR FREEFLIGHT The 2026 S2Maui WICKED 2-cam Freerace sail brings exciting, highperformance derived directly from our VENOM-XI race sail, but in a more forgiving package. The S2Maui WICKED was used to win the 2024 IFCA Youth and Junior Slalom World Championship title, demonstrating its accessible race performance! The 2026 WICKED has been developed in parallel with the new 2026 VENOM-XI and shares similar shaping and material improvements. The 2026 WICKED is even lighter than before, extending the use of S2Maui’s “Light-Film”, replacing monofilm panels with a lighter but durable Bi-ply fabric. Generous use of S2Maui’s original superlight and strong Technora™ Spacelight™ in the leech, reduces weight in this key area, encouraging faster, smoother twist reflex. The 2026 WICKED leech twist and leading edge profile have been updated, based on experience with our latest race development to increase acceleration, top speed and overall wind range. Cam pressure is carefully tuned for the perfect balance of excellent stability and easy rotation. The WICKED is one of the lightest production Freerace sails available. Its 7 battens, which include carbon and fiberglass tubes like the VENOM-XI, make for an incredibly smooth, stable and efficient freerace sail with full race sail speed. Slightly softer overall tension and cam pressure ensure effortless rotation and excellent control with a light feel.
