Introducing the Howarth S40C thumbplate dual system oboe outfit The Howarth S40C TP is graduate instrument designed for intermediate to advanced level players. Lighter in weight than our professional model oboes, the keywork of the SO4C has many of the same features as a professional level instrument with the dual-system, allowing a variety of fingerings and trills. An ideal upgrade from the student models, the SO40C will comfortably take players past grade 8 to advanced level. Professional look and durable construction With a Grenadilla (also known as African Blackwood) construction, the oboe produces a rich and resonant sound with fantastic projection, while also being highly resistant to moisture and changes in humidity.
