A Rose Montee comes pre-mounted in a metal backing - with holes in it. This is a flat style, and there is a x shaped channel in the back for stitching it on securely. However, you can also use these in jewelry stringing projects. Try a double strand of stringing cable, with a few seed beads between each rose montee.
