The Saag & Corn Roti dinner kit is a delicious dish of dark leafy greens served with the lesser known corn chapatti (Makki di roti). Saag was traditionally made with mustard leaves, spinach and fenugreek leaves and always . Makki di roti -the corn roti, is made from cornmeal and is the traditional accompaniment to Saag (spiced greens). This is the hearty dish of working farmers and we give you the original recipe, as it was when our parents first arrived in England. Each sachets serves 4 people.
