Designed by Eero Saarinen in 1957, the Pedestal collection presented a simple solution to the visual clutter of table and chair legs. This streamlined form dramatically reduced the number of legs, and remains an iconic silhouette widely seen in kitchens, dining rooms and meeting rooms.
