Sable is inspired by one of my most beloved books Women Who Run with Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estès. Sable is like you, unique. She was borne on a night I couldn’t sleep. No plan , I just put paint to the paper in my handmade sketch book until she, like clouds as they part across a moonlit sky, revealed herself.
