Fine Art Photography Print It took me 3 days to take this photo. While in Varanasi, I saw this saddhu by a fire near the ghats, surrounded by some men smoking charas. I wanted to take his picture, but taking it without consent felt wrong. The next day, I returned with firewood, just to sit with them. On the last day, I brought charas. After some time, I stood up and lifted my camera. He looked at me and nodded. I don’t feel like I took this photo, I feel like it he gave to me.
