How to Install the saddle strap: Remove the two stirrup leathers from your saddle. The saddle strap is shaped like a Y, attach the Y-arms on each side of the saddle to the stirrup blades (loosen the strap to reach the stirrup blades). Then put the stirrups back on the saddle. The rider is responsible for the proper installation of the strap.
