WHICH STRING TYPE SHOULD I CHOOSE? Bright Nickel: Warmer and smoother under the fingers than stainless steel while retaining enough brightness to cut through a mix. A great all-around choice when you want clarity without the more aggressive top end of stainless. Stainless Steel: The brightest and most aggressive Blue Label option. Choose stainless for maximum attack, articulation, and presence—especially for slap, funk, or a modern cutting bass tone. Stainless Steel Flatwound: Sadowsky's re-engineered flatwound combines a true vintage sound and feel with improved tone, feel, and consistency.
