Stillness shaped into form. Safa is part of the Asfur collection, a collection of handcrafted ceramic bird baths, where little birds can drink or bathe. Designed as a sculptural stack, the pieces can be used together as a bird bath or displayed separately as a vase and shallow bowl. The vase works beautifully for a single branch or dried flowers; the bowl can be used as a decorative dish, fruit bowl, or sculptural accent. Each element becomes a quiet statement piece. These pieces have gone through the creative process of being hand-thrown, hand-sculpted, trimmed, fired in a kiln, glazed, and fired in a kiln once more.
