They are the ones who stick with you, cheering you on your path even from afar. My childhood friend once posted a quote that said ~ Sometimes you have to rock the boat and see who remains ~ We’d been apart for some time living on opposite sides of the world and in a moment of vulnerability, I asked if I was still in her boat, she responded; “My dear, you are what the boat is made of.” - It has always stayed with me. I like that idea that we are an ever moving vessel through life who travel with others, short or long trips, these people are all part of my journey.
