Indications for use: Replaces the old style thin collars that can break or have the plastic attachments let loose. They can be used to increase safety in veterinary hospitals and usually eliminate all “choking” as the dog pulls – dogs often pull very hard on these thin collars that apply much pressure to a very small area of their neck/tracheal area. Problems associated with standard nylon parachute snap or other nylon buckle collars that can be solved with the :Mr. Big” Collar: Mildly to very uncomfortable and cause coughing, gagging and choking in dogs that pull or have partially collapsing tracheas. Do not reduce the pulling ability of the dog in most cases. Cannot be used to control the dog when held by the handler or veterinary staff to increase safety from a dog turning its head to reach the handler’s hand.
