Over the course of five action-packed days, you'll dive into the world of dinghy sailing and discover the fascinating intersection between STEAM and this exhilarating sport. Under the expert guidance of our certified sailing instructors, you'll learn the fundamentals of dinghy boat parts, sailing, steering, balancing, and boat handling. You'll develop confidence over the boat in the water. But that's not all - in our sport-linked STEAM classroom learning sessions, you'll connect the dots between STEAM in the context of sailing. By participating in our activities, you'll delve into the principles of buoyancy / aerodynamics / structural engineering and more. You'll also explore sustainability and the impact of human activities on our oceans. By the end of this STEAM x Dinghy Sailing camp, you'll not only have developed basic sailing skills but also gained a deeper appreciation for the STEAM principles that underpin this sport.
