The rigger's favorite. Classic pearl gray/silver cowhide. Approximately 3/32" thick. 5.5 oz per square foot. Thick enough to provide excellent protection, yet soft and easily worked around bends and corners. Slightly stretchy. This is a premium quality leather for all DIY and professional marine applications including turnbuckle covers and spreader boots, chafe protection on mooring lines, tiller wraps, wheel wraps, grips for dodger & bimini top bars, etc. Excellent chafe protection for sails and canvas work.
