Saint Augustine searched everywhere for fulfillment before discovering that the restlessness in his heart was really a hunger for God. For years, Augustine chased knowledge, ambition, pleasure, and success, hoping one of them would finally satisfy him. His conversion did not erase his gifts or personality. Instead, it gave them direction. Augustine eventually became Bishop of Hippo and one of the greatest thinkers and teachers in the history of the Church, using the same brilliant mind that once wandered in search of truth to help generations of Christians understand the faith. His life speaks to something deeply human: we can fill our lives with good things and still feel that something is missing. Augustine reminds us that our gifts, work, relationships, and ambitions find their deepest meaning when they are given back to the God who gave them to us. Our hearts are restless until they rest in You. Saint Augustine, pray for us. About the Shirt Printed on a super-soft Next Level Apparel tee designed for comfortable everyday wear.
