Join Sake Gumi, our monthly sake club for the sake curious and enthusiasts! All members get hand-picked bottles under a monthly theme that Yoko Kumano, Sake Director at Umami Mart curates. Since 2015, Sake Gumi has educated and delighted sake lovers across the country. Join the club for exclusive discounts, complimentary sake tasting, invites to members-only events, and personal concierge service. Silver: One Bottle Gold: Two Bottles and a zine. All members get a monthly newsletter, one free pour a month at our bar, and discounts everyday. Please see below FAQ for full list of perks at each level. This is a monthly service, where you get one or two bottles every month. We offer pick up or ship options. We do not offer a yearly gift subscription. If you'd like to subscribe for a year, we would be happy to send you a reminder in one year to unsubscribe. The Fine Print: A 6-month monthly membership is required. Your credit card will be charged the day that you submit your order for your first delivery/ pick-up, then every first of the month. At checkout you can opt to pick up at our Oakland shop directly, or get your bottles delivered to your doorstep via FedEx or UPS Ground. We will hold bottles for up to 60 days for all members who have chosen in-store pick-up. If you need us to hold your bottles for over 60 days, please email us. After 60 days of no contact, we will assume that the customer has forfeited their shochus. The shipping price will be charged monthly in addition to the monthly subscription price. Shipping costs may increase over time. By placing an order, you represent that you are at least 21 years of age. Adult Signature required upon delivery (government regulations). You may skip scheduled delivery/ pick-up or cancel your club membership after six months by emailing [email protected] or calling us at 510-250-9559. All changes must be communicated and confirmed by the last day of the month for them to go into effect immediately. We can not deliver alcoholic products to KY, MI, MS, NH, ND, SD and UT.
