Saks SILK Jacket has a casual silhouette, dropped shoulders and long sleeves. The jacket is made in a mix of different leftover crepe silk saris and has pockets at front and buttons at the placket. All seams have been covered with crepe silk tapes and the jacket is lined with 100% organic cotton.This unique item is made from a beautiful upcycled silk sari handpicked by SISSEL EDELBO. The sari has been worn by an Indian woman, which means that smaller imperfections, such as small stains and loose threads, will occur. However, to us these imperfections are the garment’s unique beauty flaws. They reflect the life and the love that the previous owner has added to the fabric. Each garment is one of a kind, and as part of its charm, you may notice differences in the prints and colors between the front and back of the piece.
