State of the wine The Rosé 2024 is a rosé made from Pinot Noir. It comes from the same origin as Salasso Rosso, but follows its own path. A wine with structure, carried by freshness and elegance. Origin Southwest slope of the Kaiserstuhl. Terraced vineyards with old vines, averaging around 45 years. Volcanic subsoil with a deep loess layer. Work in the vineyard and cellar After harvest, the grapes are crushed. Immediately afterwards, around half of the juice is drawn off — a salasso process. Spontaneous fermentation in old barriques. Ageing for ten months in barrique. Minimal bâtonnage. Style A taut rosé with grip and tension. Elegant and present.
