Salifert Flatworm Exit Salifert Flatworm Exit is a reef aquarium treatment for removing flatworms from marine aquariums while remaining suitable for fish, corals and invertebrates when used as directed. Flatworm Treatment for Reef Aquariums Flatworms can multiply quickly in reef aquariums and become difficult to remove manually once established. Salifert Flatworm Exit is designed to act quickly against flatworms, making it a practical option for reef keepers dealing with visible flatworm outbreaks. Salifert Flatworm Exit Features Designed to eliminate flatworms from marine aquariums. Reef-friendly formula when used according to the instructions. Suitable for use in systems with fish, corals and invertebrates. Works quickly, with visible effects usually starting within about 30 minutes. 10ml bottle contains approximately 300 drops. Treats up to approximately 300 gallons at the standard dosage. Useful for reef aquariums where manual flatworm removal alone is not enough. Important Treatment Notes Flatworm Exit itself is considered safe for fish and invertebrates when used as directed, but dying flatworms can release body fluids that may be toxic to reef inhabitants when large numbers are present. Siphon out as many flatworms as possible before treatment, keep fresh activated carbon ready and monitor livestock closely during and after use. Directions Before treatment, siphon out as many flatworms as possible. Remove activated carbon and turn off UV sterilizers and ozone, but keep the protein skimmer running. Dose 1 drop per 4 litres, or 1 drop per gallon, in a high-flow area of the aquarium. If no visible flatworm death occurs within 45 minutes, add 50% more. After treatment, use fresh activated carbon and perform water changes as needed to help remove toxins released by dying flatworms. What's Included 1 bottle of Salifert Flatworm Exit - 10ml.
