Two very serious, competitive natured warriors compete for dominance in this match. They don't let up on each other and the beginning starts with Mr. D showing off a la magistral cradle which seems to upset the Spanish native. These two are both very technically sound and really trying to beat one another. Salina eventually gains control with a guillotine choke and is able to take Mr. D over and almost won quickly via pinfall. However, Mr. D's size seemed to have hurt Salina for a little while. Salina was still able to come back and attempts to apply a cross face chicken wing. It doesn't work so Salina switched to a bearhug which she thinks will work. Mr. D teachers Salina a lesson shortly after that which leaves Salina questioning what she can do to win this match. Salina eventually gets a takedown and now feels very in control of this match. Mr. D notices this as well and also engages. Things heat up more and Mr. D finds himself in a triangle choke. His strength though won't allow him to stay down long. These two begin to square up again and a high angled bear hug is applied before a body scissors takedown is applied. Salina attempts to beat down Mr. D but he locks her up in multiple ways. Mr. D starts to get upset when a pin he thought should have won ended up only being a near fall. Salina eventually finds an opportunity to hook Mr. D in a full nelson and than a dragon sleeper. Mr. D looks like he may lose as Salina wraps herself all over him. Mr. D is able to hook a very tight pin but was not able to put Salina away. Salina noticing she just came closest to almost losing tries to slow things down but ends up in more pain than she expected with a backbreaking submission hold. Mr. D is firmly in control as he starts pinning her more confidently and could have even possibly broken her ankle in an ankle lock. Salina attempts to use the referee and eventually takes over with a nasty hair pull and big over hand chop. Mr. D gets mad and shoots in for a single leg and then just starts stretching Salina. Salina needs the ropes and may be injured. Mr. D doesn't care and locks Salina in a Boston crab. That's when the claws came out! Mr. D complained about the nails and Salina got even nastier leading the end of this epic encounter. A few words had with the referee as well afterwards.
