Salio is a shallow oval pinched into two soft lobes, one continuous curve doing the dividing instead of a molded wall between compartments. It is slip-cast ceramic finished in a fi ne speckle that shifts with the light, so no two plates carry the same scatter of flecks.At 214 × 130mm and 200g it stays light for ceramic, an everyday plate for portioning banchan (Korean side dishes), a dessert and its fork, or fruit and the pits. Microwave- and dishwasher-safe; hand-wash with a soft sponge and keep it out of the oven, where sudden heat can crack it.
