Salmon Runner was hybridized by Van Dongen and introduced in the Netherlands in 2015. Characteristics: Form: Formal Decorative (FD). The ray florets are flat, broad, and smoothly arranged in a double form. Color: Salmon, Coral, and Pink Blend. The color is a complex, lively mix, often described as a coral salmon with a slight dusting of orange, smoky-coral-raspberry blooms, or a beautiful blend of salmon and pink shades. The petals have lighter edges/tips which adds depth and a glowing dimension. Bloom Size: 4 to 5 inches (approx. 10 to 13 cm). This size is perfect for bouquets and arrangements, fitting into the "Small" (BB) dahlia size class. Height: 3.5 to 5 feet (40 to 62 inches or 100 to 157 cm). It has a good, medium-to-tall plant stature. Performance: Early Season. It is noted as one of the first flowers to bloom and is a continuous bloomer until frost. Exceptional Productivity: Produces an abundance of blooms continuously. Strong Stems: It has long, sturdy, strong stems that hold the blooms well and are perfect for harvesting. Good Habit: The plant is generally well-balanced and robust, often requiring less staking than other dahlia varieties. Vase Life: The blooms have an excellent longevity in the vase, making them highly desirable for florist. Please note that the listing is for one tuber.
