Killervision is the third studio album from Salmonella Dub, originally released in 1999. Formed in Christchurch in the early 1990s, Salmonella Dub became known for their live shows and recordings that fused a distinctly Aotearoan twist on dub & Jungle. Recorded on tape in 1998 this is the 3rd release that Salmonella Dub flew in David Harrow Onu Sound, Bijork and Jah Wobble producer David from the UK. Harrow arranged and mixed 9 tracks in 9 day's using Cubase in Andrew's spare bedroom while performing with Salmonella Dub on their New Year Eve shows in Kaikoura and at the Gathering. Across Killervision, the group continues to develop their bass-driven approach to production, layering dub rhythms and live elements across a series of extended tracks. The album arrived during a period when the band was gaining wider recognition through touring and festival appearances both in New Zealand and overseas.The album quickly became a cult classic — eventually achieving double-platinum status in New Zealand.
