If you use the wrong wattage for your salt lamp cord, your globe will immediately blow when it is switched on after installation. If you are unsure of which wattage your cord prefers, please check your old globe because the wattage is usually etched on the globe. Before installing or replacing your globe, make sure the lamp is switched off. Always let the globe cool down fully before handling it. Disposed of any used globes safely.
