These salt wells are an incredibly useful and beautiful addition to your kitchen or table. These wells are designed so that they can be easily opened and closed with one hand so you don't have to slow down or have two clean hands while you cook! They are slightly larger than your average salt well (4x4") so they need refilling less often. They are made out of beautiful rainbow poplar with a stripe of maple on the top and bottom. The wood is not dyed, its just that cool looking! Poplar is normally white with a slight green tint but occasionally a genetic mutation gives it these incredible blacks, greys, purples, and greens. They are finished with a food safe mineral oil and will keep your salt clean and safe. These six boxes were all made from the same piece of wood but each box is unique in exact color.
