Meadow sage is one of the true stars of our garden, and one of the easiest plants that we grow, either in acid or alkaline soils. In spring, the flat fuzzy green leaves form an att ractive basal rosette to 18" wide. Beginning in late spring, these rosettes produce 18" tall spikes of nice lavender-blue flowers that continue sporadically until late summer (more flowering if the spent spikes are removed). S. pratensis tends to naturalize well in both sun and shade. Show more
