Salvinia Natans, also known as Floating Fern, is a floating aquatic plant that reproduces quickly and has a fast growing rate. Found all over the globe, this plant is beneficial fo r any aquarium as it consumes ammonia and nitrates while providing shade and shelter for smaller top dweller fish, and fry. Salvinia Natans has green cup-like ruffled leaves and will form a 'carpet' on the surface of your aquarium. It is also a bigger type of Salvinia which sends side shoots and can grow to be 2" tall.
