The Serra da Mantiqueira is part of the Atlantic Forest ecosystem, one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet and often considered the “green lung” for its range of plant life. The bourbon-like beans are meticulously processed and sorted at a community co-op in the Trapichitos region of Guatemala. The resulting cup is beautifully nuanced, with a delicate smoky tone.
