If you need to replace your battery on the unit, take these steps. To replace the battery on the XP310W Lay the unit face down. Unplug the power cord. Remove all the screws from the perimeter of the back plate. From the top edge, pull the plate away from the cabinet At this point, you will see the battery encased in a metal bracket. Four screws are holding it in. Remove the crews. The wire for the battery is folded and tied. Remove the plastic tie. Disconnect the wire, feed it through the bracket. Remove the battery. Reverse the process to install.
