This is the primary thermostat for the refrigerator cabinet of your Samsung Refrigerator. The sensor is traditionally hidden behind the styrofoam cover, and controls what the refri gerator believes the temperature is in the refrigerator. If this sensor is off-value, it may trick the refrigerator into believing it is at the correct temperature, even if it is truly too warm, or too cold.
